Rossi wins in Portugal.

And how! He even had time to slow down in the middle of the race, to have a bit of a rest, before relaunching himself to a five-second win ahead of Tamada on the RCV.

Best part of the race for me was seeing Biaggi screw-up royal, going in to a corner way too hot and clipping the back of Loris Capirossi before leaving the course permanently - on the first lap!

I also really enjoyed seeing Barros block Gibernau for the last 10 laps, denying Gibernau a place on the podium and, crucially, allowing Rossi to increase his lead on the championship points table.

The drama and stories behind this season of Moto GP have made it the most interesting motor sport season in a long time (no, Schumacher is never interesting).
