Now that I am once again being paid to read all that I can about sport on tv (oh glorious day!), just a quick note on the most recent EU vs BSkyB wranglings over the English Premier League broadcast rights.

BSkyB's in it for £1.024 billion!!!!! This is just crazy money, and we all know where its going - into Thierry Henri's collection of obscure snow domes no doubt. I mean, £1.024 billion! Oh well, at least it makes Leeds' financial woes look small.

Its an average of £3.6 million each match (gee, you'd feel ripped off if it was something like Middlesborough and Wolves ... zzzzzzz).
