Is this the best day ever?

Ok, so we've had a crappy season but beating ManU at Old Trafford raises the spirits for at least a couple of days. Yes, it was a penalty and no, Liverpool didn't look like scoring from open play but when you've been missing more penalties than you score, winning in this way is like doing it with a couple of screamers. (Actually, I wouldn't give a toss if Liverpool won through an own goal off Gary Neville's arse.)

Saw the Brumbies down at Coogee beach 'recovering' after their wonderful loss to the 'Tahs. I must say, they really are the glamour boys of the Super 12. In a place like Coogee where footballers from all codes are like bums, most people on the beach and on the boardwalk stopped what they were doing to watch the Canberra boys yelp as they entered the not-chilly-at-all water. It was a disgrace, some people even had their cameras out.
