While I'm on the topic of Origin, how sick am I of this Brad Fittler 'fairy tale ending' crap? It would have been a fairy tale ending if he had announced his retirement, then gone on and won his farewell series. Retiring a few years ago, losing, coming out of retirement in game 2 of this series, losing, then coming out of retirement again to have another crack, is NOT a fairy tale ending. Its massively contrived and artificial.

Keeping on coming back until you get the win you want, is not a fairy tale ending, you tool.

While I'm at it, did anyone calculate what percentage of last night's coverage was shmaltzy, cheesy, pseudo-historical pap about previous state of origin series? I'd have to say about bloody 75%. As an example, some bozo with a serious voice-mail problem stumbles over the line for a very mediocre try, and bloody Ray Warren froths at the mouth with 'classic origin' and 'legend name of league' tripe. No! He just scored a friggin try.
